Ive always been interested in things people dont talk about by default, so Ill try this here too:

does anybody know a good "spiritual" (sry, new to this. my point is it shouldnt be too scientific since I hardly got to know one scientist who even can handle the mere thought) source on pain? how it numbs or enables the thoughts, same for fear. psychological extremes, maybe. Id be searching for something comprehensive, something that puts situations next to each other and draws conclusions.

dark soul" what you really mean is devil
you dont want evil just me its only leads to death and hurting others

AFRICANS use witch craft its the closest thing to a black soul there is power in it.

But i tell you theres greater power in a soul of rightousness. If you have the Holy Spirit living in you, you can cast out demons, you'll have power over the devil.

hello /spirit/
ITT we share our meditation techniques, if any. I just like sitting in the lotus position, and when any thoughts come to my mind, I just let them pass, I dont try to make them go away, they eventually leave. Now, your turn /spirit/..

Pic related, it's a 12 vertice star-like shape used by the masons and stufffff

Do you want an answer to feeling lost, pain, always wanting more and never satisfied, alone or even suicide.

Just question it: If Gods real + you have a Soul and you die tomorrow, where do you think you'll go?

What is Love?- 1Corinthians13:4-7
Love is patient, love is kind, it does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud, it is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs.
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices in the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Christ Jesus is my savior I'm a Christian church life is fun, hope to see you in Heaven, Peace be with you & God Bless.

Names are just names, dude.
So what if I call God Zoroaster (the original name for him, do reasearch pl0x) or even Hthhonoshgaba?
Why would he care?
You only believe in the Devil because you can't take the idea that God created stuff you don't approve of.
If I'm mistaken, this is the place to show me up.
I'd love to hear a response.

I'm a sceptic but spirituality has secular forms in psychology, but religion is simply irresponsible philosophy. I have a hard time believing what's on this board, but to bring your Jesus here, that's just the worst. Christianity, all of the Abrahamic religions, are not even remotely valuable on a spiritual level.

Modern Christians ignore swathes of the book, if they have even read any of it, and twist it to fit their own perverse views. If you're going to follow an archaic blood cult then at least do it right.

See you in heaven - not a chance. I would never wish bad on another person but I'm not bowing down to your bloodthirsty monster of a "god".

In this comment that I made right at the beginning of the year, I underestimated the value of "opening the third eye" by limiting its application to human interactions.

The possibilities extend far beyond my initial assessment. Keeping a peaceful inner state and maintaining a disciplined approach to inner thoughs and feelings is absolutely vital.
To assist with this I performed a ritual "cleansing" on my residence in order to release the undisciplined emotions that had settled into the walls and objects around the flat.

In the days and weeks after performing this ritual, I entered the front door in a manner similar to entering a Sacred or Holy Building, with hushed reverance.

The reason for that was to establish a different form of thinking when indoors, especially in my residence and most notably in my bedroom.

The "reverent" behaviour when entering was a deliberately exaggerated attempt to clear my thoughts and not allow any stress-related emotions to enter my residence. They stay outside the front door.

At this point in time, I believe in the collective unconscious connectedness between all humans and possibly all living things.

Due to recent experiences when asleep - lucid dreams - I believe it is possible to have active and conscious interconnectedness beyond the physical contact we are used to experiencing every day.

Removing all distractions from life and focusing on the goal of attaining regular conscious (intentional) interconnectedness beyond the pysical realm is now a top priority of mine.

tl;dr remain healthy, active, with a strong mind and reflecting on god, can you enter a state of higher being?

Hey guys. Auschan referred me here and I've been lurking for a bit.
I have an idea/theorem. It is, If you were to abstain from TV and computers and for a few days remained in silence, reading, eating healthily, engaging in physical training and expanding your spirituality by reading and reflecting on the bible and god (or whatever) that you may reach a higher state of self awareness.
Does anyone agree with this?
I'm still in school ATM but in a few months when I've finished, I'm aiming on doing a 3 day hike by myself (yeah I know all the safety and shit etc...), remaining in sile

Sorry, I realise it may be a bit cryptic.
If you were to: remain physically healthy- by means of excersize and eating, remain mentally active - reading and any work, and engage with god - by reading bible, reading commentaries, praying, that you may enter a state of higher being. Even if you are more conscious and aware, or perhaps even more, tapping into the potential we all know we have within our brains.

I try to do all that as much as possible, imo the only way to live is to constantly grow towards your own "inner being" (ideal of self as you truly ((like, without outside influence)) want it?) and I also suggest:

Artistic endeavors (any is good)
Water. Drink lots of water.
Being around nature in places you are drawn to
Only doing something if you know why you're doing it (I stopped watching TV years ago because i realized i hate shows)

Now, I know i'm just some asshole but try to take this as my perception of helpful advice instead of me trying to be a smug cunt.
Cause I see how I could come off that way going HURR HURR TV BAD but really, honestly...only do something if

>In which I would consider myself a humanist.

This sums me up nicely, actually. I only just found this board having returned to LucidChan after a while. I was raised eventually protestant before finding atheism in my teens and sticking with that. Philosophy is a love of mine but specifically nihilism and utilitarianism do it for me, although I do have a fascination of sorts with the paranormal and occult, despite my scientific inclination.

I used to be like REALLY REALLY REALLY Church of England, Like really Anglican. So religious I couldn't even think about girls sexually (no joke, let alone try and come onto someone. Couldn't lie, literally even if I told a small one i would apologise and tell the truth.
Fuck, now I'm completely different. The bible has been edited too many times. Read the book 'God is a verb' now I consider myself a Messianic Jew. Like Jesus was a Rabbi, he observed all the Jewish Laws and Holy days, why shouldn't we?
Not religious anymore though. Kinda wish I was, at least I had direction when I was.

Questioner: How does a third-density planet become a fourth density planet?
Ra: I am Ra. This will be the last full question.

The fourth density is, as we have said, as regularized in its approach as the striking of a clock upon the hour. The space/time of your solar system has enabled this planetary sphere to spiral into space/time of a different vibrational configuration. This causes the planetary sphere to be able to be molded by these new distortions. However, the thought-forms of your people during this transition period are such that the mind/body/spirit complexes of both individual and societies are scattered throughout the spectrum instead of becoming able to grasp the needle, shall we say, and point the compass i

In all honesty, this board seemed the most relevant to my question, so here it goes. I don't know what exactly to call it, whether it be psychic ability, heightened sense of Empathy, or something else all together... I was hoping maybe someone on here could help me understand it better. It's relevant to my other posts on /gh/ and /magick/ as well.
I empathize with others to the point of almost feeling like I'm sharing their pain, happiness, panic, ect, ect. The time it takes to have this come into effect depends on the person, usually it's almost immediately for me. Many times, my mood will change without any reason for it if I'm around people who are in that particular mood. All I know is that I care very dee

When I was a kid I was great at making people happy because I knew what they wanted before they told me most of the time (Christfag time-period). As I got older and I began to...basically start to think for myself (which was furthered along by teen angst and depression that hit me a bit harder than most people), and I lost the ability (moreso I didn't care) to tell what people want as far as what will help them. Anymore I get a good feel for how a person physically feels, like if I give someone a back rub I can tell where they feel tension or pain (it's like I can feel their back as if it were my own).

Even when it's not helpful, if someone has a bruise or a sore spot, I tend to accidentally punch or grab them th

Curiousity&Kitties: I completely understand what you mean. I have noticed over the past few years that my sense for others' feelings has become ridiculously heightened, and being a Pisces doesn't help the situation.
When someone in a room with me has a mood change, I'm usually affected, and if they have changed to a lower emotional vibration, sometimes they'll rub off on me, and send me into a ridiculous funk.

I've asked for advice on keeping myself protected from the influence of others' feelings, and negativity, I've been advised to carry black obsidian, as well as hematite. Although I've fallen off of the band wagon, as far as keeping up with my own habits, and I've

I end up forming complex self affirmations for how I deal with things logically and thus how I should direct my feelings to compliment it. It could e because you lack a greater purpose, or love...I'm a pisces as well and still have those issues somewhat, but I'm working on it. Just keep your head up (hope, if not something stronger) and actively work towards fulfilling your needs, or realizing them, or realizing you don't like some of them and work towards curbing those habits and redirect that energy into other more positive goals and ventures. Just get out more, get connected and make new friends...just realize who you can trust with what (emotionally at least , if you have those troubles too). It's a self honesty

Well, there are varying opinions on zen meditation even within the zen traditions.

Some people just sit, and let what happens happen. That's called shikantaza. There's also a kind of zazen which is just mindfulness of breathing.

Ultimately, the "nothingness that is zen" is the inner nothingness, the inner vacancy where instead of a self there is only void. This nothingness is always here, regardless of any kind of meditation.

Feels good to know there's still people here :)

When I meditate I usually have a cup of green tea, pay attention to my breath for say, 108 breaths (very deep, very slow breaths). That usually gets my head clear. Then I just sit there, not really trying to force myself to think of nothing at all (that usually doesn't work) but rather just relaxing, letting thoughts play out and fade away until it's all quiet inside.
