Ancient Jewish mysticism. Based off of 1,000 or 10,000 total possibilities and I think 3,000 or 30,000 rituals (variations included). You gotta read it to understand it. I'm not too interested in it to be honest. More shamanism for me.

Not everyone makes the distinction, but I find it helpful to distinguish between Kabbalah, which is Jewish rabbinical mysticism, based on interpretations of the Torah, the Zohar, etc.; and Qabalah, which is the Western Hermetic Tradition, and draws on Alchemy, Tarot,Astrology, Magick, and the Kabbalah.

Could someone please recommend a book or two that give a good introduction to practical Qabalah?

joy of satan clergy have never opened three books on kabbalah, sorry. Was one of them a few years ago, they know little to nothing actually. All of their sources are either from ''divine inspiration'' or from books which hold no water at all.

Qabala is the only system I've studied which has a built in method for circumventing the threefold law, by utilizing the tree of life and the four worlds.

It is the scientific/mystical definition of the entire world, if we use the term world to define the universe and all parallel universes. There exists nothing which cannot be found on the tree, because the tree is a picture of everything...

Even shamanism :)

In case anyone else is interested, here is a PDF of Mystical Qabalah by Dione Fortune:

I also found one for Qabalah, Qliphoth and Goetic Magic by Thomas Karlsson, but when I tried to post the link it said the site was "blacklisted" and then I was banned from making any posts for one hour. Any idea what's up with that? The website was filesonic.

Anyway, here is a link to where I found the link I tried to post... so you can find it from here:

I can't wait to get started on these books! I'm greatly appreciative to >>103 for recommending them. After I finish them (lest I forget) I will let you know what I think of them.

Israel Regardie, clearly.

Garden of Pomegranates and the Middle Pillar are really like all you need.
