I have managed to enter sleep paralysis using the WILD technique (I think). After closing my eyes and relaxing my body for around 10 - 20 mins, after i opened them again i began to hallucinate (light bulbs expanding and shrinking). After that, i tried to close my eyes again and start dreaming, but i couldn't. what should i do? what am i doing wrong?

When you enter sleep paralysis there is no doubt in your mind. My guess is that you were on the verge of it given the hallucinations. How long did you wait after you closed your eyes, did you still see images? It is also difficult to enter a dream unless you were already in REM sleep when you woke up.

I didn't wait long, but I've tried several times. I figure I must wait alot of time for REM then? And no, I saw pitch black after the hallucinations.

I would attempt after a good amount of sleep. set your alarm an hour early and try then. I would also keep your eyes closed the whole time as opening your eyes can cause your body and mind to go into "wake up mode"

I've tried it again today after a good night's sleep, and stayed almost perfectly still for about 30 mins with my eyes closed, and still, nothing. Should I not move at all? Because once in a while there was a teardrop on my cheek or something that drove me crazy.

if your uncomfortable, move. the whole point is to get right on the verge of sleep without actually falling asleep. that's when your body will paralyze. I would work more on faling asleep, but keeping your attention on something else. maybe have a quiet beep in the background, or a fan going, or your breathing. counting can work. just keep your mind occupied during the whole process. set an alarm for 30 min in case you fail then try again.
