I need help /ap/
I've been trying for the last month to do AP, but with no success whatsoever.
I've tried the beedekin's method and I tried to force sleep paralisis, which comes to the point of all my limbs going numb, but I never move forward from there, my body starts tingling but eventually stops. I try it at least 3 to 4 times a week in the last month and I'm starting to get frustrated. Please help me!

that happens to me too, but when i try to "float" or to "roll out" it looks i'm stuck and i can't successfully do those, even tho i can "move" my members without really moving them, how can i get passed that ?

OP, I've had the same problem. I attempt to achieve SP at least once a day. I do get the tingles but like you said, they eventually go away or I fall asleep..

I love SP and the way it feels.. and it's a great way to head into an LD.. and I'm newly interested in AP.

Wish I had some tips for you, but I'm stuck precisely where you are.

There is a way to force it. Simply go to sleep with a mirror beside your bed. Keep the mirror on the side you usually wake up facing when you wake up the mirror will pull you out of your body.

here is a little of my knowledge. i didnt read the whole thread cause im a lazy fuck. you may have known some or all of this information, so dont take offense to me repeating it. i just want to cover all the bases [i should say most because there are MANY MANY ways of inducing an OBE]

you dont need to buy any of his shit, just get the free stuff and use the timer. the video along with the free info, mp3's and timer allow you to do OBE's without any effort.

I also recommend listening to binary tones if you are going to go for the forced method before sleep. a great one to use is the delta track from steve jones' astral projection cd. you can buy or torrent it, i highly recommend it.

here is the delta track. listen to it on repeat with HEADPHONES. get comfortable, stay still [dont move yo!], and repeat a mantra like: mind awake, body asleep. this tricks the mind into thinking that you are asleep. the only time that you are not thinking about anything is the moment just before you go into sleep. the fact that you are repeating this mantra over and over causes the brain to think that you are ready for sleep [like your not thinking yo!]. you will go into sleep paralysis and soon will feel vibrations or spine tingling. from this point imagine, believe, and feel yourself leaving your body. [theres probably better instructions for this, again im lazy]

another tip for the forced method is meditation. this is a difficult way to force an OBE and takes lots of practice. meditate regularly and practice breathing exercises. breathing properly is VERY IMPORTANT!

also you should focus on dream/memory recall. this will help you remember your OBE's. you may have done them before, most people do them all the time automatically but never remember them. so every night, before you go to sleep, close your eyes and do the following. imagine an object, in this case we will use a lemon, it works best because it uses all the senses and thats the point. SO, imagine a lemon; what it looks like, feels like, tastes like, smells like, what it sounds like when it is squished or is thrown on the floor. do this for about 3 minutes or more just before sleep every night and you will start to increase your memory recall.

another tip for remembering, and this goes for OBE's and lucid dreaming, is to NOT MOVE when you wake up. the more you move the less you will remember!

last tip is to keep a journal. most people hate this part, but just write it. it doesnt have to be perfect, and can just be bullet points. write any experience you have; a dream, lucid dream, OBE, sensations, sleep paralysis, ect. do this every morning. at the end of the week read through your experiences and try to recall them as best you can.

there are also roots, drugs, ect that can help aid an OBE. google it.

also i have a nice handbook with even more information and ways to force an OBE. if you want i have it in pdf format and can give you a download link yo!

In terms of herbs, I'm pretty sure Mugwort has been used as a flying herb. You can get that as a smoke in some places. I'd also recommend fresh mint as a tea, not long before sleep. I had a pretty wild precognitive dream from that, once.
